P&P air dried treats
Paul & Paulina’s philosophy is traceability and natural air dried treats. They purchase directly themselves from butchers and slaughterhouse around Bavarian from animal around Bavaria. They air dried the meat and innards quickly themselves.
There are often substance used during pre-treatments and during drying. Producers do not have to declared the use of this on the labels (except for glycerine which is declared as ingredient because it also serves as a sweetener). Because they make make the snacks themselves, they can assure you with confidence, when you buy their snacks, it is 100% naturally dried.
Because of this Paul & Paulina’s air dried treats are probably drier and more crunchy than you are used to compared to a lot of other brands. This is necessary to bring the moisture level very low to avoid using anything to prevent moulding. Paul & Paulina also do not use glycerine to give the ‘fresher’ and ‘semi-moist’ feel and texture to the snacks.
