The forest perennial rye is one of the oldest known types of grain. Due to its 7,000-year history, is also known as the “original rye”. It originally comes from the Middle East, but has also been used in Europe for a long time. Forest perennial rye is very digestible – it can even be eaten by people with celiac disease.
